~New makeup/prosthetic technology/techniques by Tyler Green!Ever hear of a little TV program called “Face Off”? Well, the Haunt Club is very happy to announce Tyler Green from Face Off season 6 and season 11 “All Stars” will be presenting at this year’s Gathering! This presentation will be strictly on the 3D Transfer Application with realistic blood effects provided by EBA (European Body Art).

~Mask Makeovers by Victor Bariteau – Got a cheap store bought mask that you would be too embarrassed to wear to a Haunt Gathering Party? How about an almost featureless plastic mask that you picked up in a craft store but don’t know what to do with it? Well no need to fear, Victor is here! Victor will teach us how to turn those cheap latex or plastic masks into horrors worthy of any professional haunt. You will learn how to customize masks, alter facial features, add realistic teeth, repaint, age, add hair, etc, to make them stand out. One of a kind masks always impress!

Victor Bariteau has been haunting (home and professional) for more than 20 years, before opening his own haunted attraction: Ghoulie Manor. Victor was featured in the critically acclaimed documentary: The American Scream as well as sculpted and built props for television and movies.

~Big Impact on a Tight Budget by Haunted Farms of America – Designing great sets on the cheap requires resourcefulness. In this discussion, we will dive into 3 real world examples that utilized found and purchased materials as well as a creative approach to design. The end results were fun, inexpensive, quality sets. We will cover the process from conception to execution and dig into the details that all work together in order to bring the design to life.

Alexis Abare and Benjamin Selecky are Co-owners of Haunted Farms of America, Inc. (HFA). Abare carries over 10 years in the advertising and creative industry, and obtained her art education locally from Salem State University. Selecky is a United States Air Force Veteran and was born in Salem, Massachusetts, where he currently lives. Their commitment to quality, passion & attention to detail help guide farms across the country in creating successful Haunted Agritainment attractions. HFA Members have been highlighted by publications such as Modern Farmer, the Travel Channel, HauntWorld Magazine and received numerous awards and rankings. ~Haunter’s Hangout – Please bring one of your homemade props, decorations or special effects and be a part of the spooky show-n-tell.  (This agenda item will depend on the amount of participation.)

Dinner & Costume Ball: Think about it — dinner, dancing and in costume! It doesn’t get better that this! Price is $45 per person and you can use our PayPal option on the sidebar.

Cash bar will be open from 7pm – 12am. ( times may change )
Buffet dinner will be served 7:30pm-8:00pm. ( times may change )

This year’s theme is . . . !

FRIDAY:

Want some more Tyler. . .Ya you do! Friday, Tyler will conduct a FULL, up close and personal make up demonstration, including questions and answers. Tyler will teach us advanced techniques involving, 3D Pro-Transfers, airbrushing and foam latex prosthetic applications. If that’s not enough, Tyler will transform some poor unwitting victim into a Zombie from head to toe!

Tyler is getting some samples and price sheets from a few suppliers to hand out during the demo. As well as using his own product that will be available while supplies last!

** PLEASE NOTE: This will cost a little extra and is intended for Gathering attendees.
The price is $55, which includes the cost of the Gathering (ie. If you attend the full make up demo on Friday, you are paying for the Gathering whether you attend or not). We cannot split up the price, sorry no exceptions. Seating is limited and (as always) requires an rsvp email. Please rsvp at (tylergreen_rsvp@hauntclub.net)

FRIDAY NIGHT:

Beast Feast – If you are coming in Friday, instead of spending money eating out come to the Beast Feast!  Bring one of your favorite ghoulish, homemade haunted cuisines.  Appetizers, desserts, snacks, etc, anything goes. It keeps getting better every year.

FRIDAY NIGHT HORROR SHOW: Featuring Steve Gibson and Peter Melillo (time TBA)

SUNDAY:

HAUNTED OVERLOAD!!.. Need I say more? Eric Lowther has generously offered us a walkthrough of one of the most creative haunts in New England, Haunted Overload! See a spooktacular work in progress in anticipation of the Halloween Season.

A meeting time/place, to head over to Haunted Overload, will be announced during the Gathering. The plan is to be at Haunted Overload 1:30pm. You can visit the website at: www.hauntedoverload.com.

Silent Auction: To Benefit Team Halloween!

** Last year we raised $1,000.00! Let’s raise more this year! **

As always, some members will be cleaning out and donating their Halloween items for a silent auction to raise money for Team Halloween. Team Halloween is a charitable project, started by Mike Krausert of 13th Gate, that raises money for cancer research & support. All money raised will be donated to the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC). So, bring cash and maybe you will find a treasure while contributing to a worthy cause!
